Lincoln, known to many as the land of 13 lakes, is a major hub for many of the smaller surrounding towns. Lincoln is the gateway to Maine’s Lake Region making it an obvious stopping point for many outdoorsmen.

Lincoln was incorporated in 1829 as Maine’s 284th town. The town was name after Enoch Lincoln, Maine’s 6th governor. The Neal Family has been surviving Maine’s insurance needs since 1958.
